If you are travelling with a group of friends, your best option would be to rent a private villa with enough space for everyone to hang out, and ideally a pool or nearby beach.

Villa Paradiso is stunning, with uninterrupted views of Super Paradise beach, a huge pool to lay by during the day, and a big outdoor kitchen and dining area to cook yourself up a Greek feast.

DeLight Boutique Hotel is located over on the western side of the island is ideal if you are after something lowkey and quiet with its own private beach club. You can also wander down to Hippie Fish restaurant, which is the OG bohemian seafood restaurant in Mykonos.

EAT

Kiki’s Tavern will be the first place everyone recommends, because it is the real deal!

Perched next to a secluded beach, this tavern has no phone, electricity, or Wi-Fi. They cook their meat and seafood over an open coal grill served with the freshest mouth-watering salads and carafes of wine.

They open only for lunch, and the queues can be long, so get there early, and go for a swim before (and after) lunch at the crystal turquoise beach below.

Avra restaurant in Mykonos Town is set in a picturesque courtyard covered in Instagram-worthy bougainvillea, serving up delicious homestyle Greek cooking… and you can’t go

past the moussaka.

Be sure to grab a tzatziki and souvlaki filled gyros form any of the hole in the wall places throughout the island. Perfect for lunch, or some late-night sustenance on your walk home.

Nammos Beach Club is a fabulous melting pot of families, billionaires fresh of their yachts, and scene-y influencer types for a marvellous day of people watching and fun at

the beach.

The door staff can be a little discerning, so get your hotel to book daybeds or a table at the restaurant in advance.

Afternoons don’t get more fun than those at JackieO’ Beach Club, with views over Super Paradise Beach, great cocktails and drag show performances… the perfect combo!

A few hours at the Kenshō Beach Spa are sure to wash away any hangovers. Book it for an afternoon of blissful massages and day spa treatments, overlooking Nammos Beach.

PACK

While you’re on holidays in one of the most magnificent places in the world, you want pack effortlessly and fabulously!

Anything from Double Rainbouu or Bassike will be perfect to take you from days at the beach club, to dinners out.

The sun is bound to be out every day, so make sure you are covered up with my favourite

Ultra Violette sunscreen, and a few pairs of Le Specs.

SOUVENIRS

Ralph’s Diner a Nammos Village is one of the world’s best eyewear boutiques, and perfect if you need to pick yourself up a pair of Le Specs.

Nothing beats wandering around the narrow streets of Mykonos Town find a great Euro outfit or pick out some souvenirs and holiday keepsakes.

TIPS

If you’re confident enough to brave the narrow winding roads, renting a car for the day and beach-hopping between beaches is a great way to see the island, and find some of the

quieter beaches.

If driving is not your vibe, there are plenty of taxis and minivans that you can book to get you around, and it’s great to have their phone number on hand if you get

stuck anywhere.

The airport is small, and can feel a little hectic, so be sure to have pre-organised yourself an airport transfer for when you arrive.
