Inside the Magical Medina. A Riad is a must! Hidden heavens in the red city that will take your breath away. We stayed at Riad Jardin Secret. Which I couldn’t recommend more. Between the incredible rooms and hang out areas and homemade breakfast on the pink rooftop each morning it is actual heaven. Not the mention Bussa, the hotel dog who will be your new best friend.
EAT
There are a trio of classic eateries owned by the same couple. Nomad for Dinner, Le Jardin or Cafe des Epices for lunch or snack.
You HAVE to go to Jemaa el-Fna for some street food. Stall number 1 is the best. The other stalls will hassle you and tell you they are the best, but we loved number 1!
The Cafe at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
Some of the best food can be found in the Riads. One of the best meals we had was at our Riad.

Explore the incredible Medina and the Souks. SO much to see.
Spend a day a Beldi country club. Buy a day pass, enjoy the pool, have a spa treatment and escape the city.
Spa treatments! Try Hammam, a traditional spa treatment that will give you an incredible all over glow.
There are some incredible historic sites like the Saadian Tombs and wonderful Palaces like Bahia.
Jemaa el-Fna at night time – A whole new world with snake charmers, belly dancers and market stalls. The energy is crazy.

Hat & sunglasses are a must.
We went in June, which was hot through the day and chilly at night.
Loads of linen and light fabrics.
SHOP
Explore the Souks, it’s never ending. Do be careful of overly nice locals who want to show you their city, unless you are willing to fork out some Dirhams for their time and local knowledge, politely decline.
Google Maps also doesn’t work so well in the maze of alleys and lanes through the Medina. We used CityMaps2Go App to navigate our way around
