NAME: Tara Bennett
WHAT DO YOU DO: I run Provider Store!
SOCIALS: @theproviderstore
STAR SIGN: Aquarius (To a T!)
LIVING: Erskineville, Australia (Inner West is best!)
SLEEP
Khlong Toei. If you’re feeling fancy book the Cabochon Hotel. Its a really cool area, kind of like the Surry Hills of Bangkok.
EAT
Quince is this awesome restaurant if you want to treat yourself. Next door is Sing Sing Theatre. It’s a bar that has won design awards. My Old Fashion was brought to me in a bird cage on a stick haha.
Casa Lapin x 26. This might be one of the best coffees I had in my life (bold statement). The interior is very cool and industrial. They sell homewares and out the back is a little brewery, a cool co-working space and a trendy hostel for those working there.

Blue Dye Café. Think Paramount Coffee food vibes. My ceramist who makes a lot of my items runs this with her friend.
To all those people who are too scared to eat at street markets, you are missing out! If you go to a little Thai restaurant on the side of the road, order a whole fried fish with sweet and sour sauce and a papaya salad. Oh and a beer because it’s the only thing that will help with the chilli haha.
DO
Go to Chatuchak Market. It’s the best and cheapest vintage you will ever come across!

Visit The Commons – I love this place! It’s this huge concrete open building designed by the Department of Architecture, with the intention to build first a community, then a mall. It’s full of all different food stalls and you can sit anywhere and eat it.
SHOP
Onion Bangkok is this cool store full of heritage and streetwear brands. Next door is a cute café too.
EmQuartier is probably the best shopping centre I have ever been to (and I don’t usually like malls). It’s got everything from local Thai designers to Bape, Beams and a Comme Des Garcons store.
